菓子のキャラ弁 Japanese Sweets Character Bento

菓子のキャラベン
今日は楽しいキャラ弁を作りました。

お弁当の内容は、ひな祭り菓子に似ていますか?笑~

Japanese sweets character bento
I made this kyaraben (also known as character bento or deco-ben) for fun! lol~ Inspired by the super kawaii  hinmatsuri sweets I bought over the weekend, I decided to make the contents of my bento look like sweets. Do they? Heh.

Hope you like this Japanese sweets kyaraben!

  4. Do I like? I love this kyaraben! Colours're delicious and the whole design's so pretty. Asian sweets're really various and cute. I hope that one day I'll come to Asia and have an opportunity to try all of them! :P

  5. Hi, your bento set look so sweet and nice. Should try out one day. But will like to know what ingredients can we use to make the rice become orange and yellow rice? As I'm trying to do care bear bento set.

    Thanks & best regards

    1. Hello Fay,

Thanks for the comment :) There are several ways to colour your rice, one by deco furikake (this is japanese rice seasoning, that colors the rice and used often in decoration bento). But if you cannot get your hands on this or prefer a more natural way to color, you can consider using boiled egg (only yolk) to colour your rice yellow. As for orange, you can use some ketchup (tomato sauce) or fish roe/salmon but the color will not be as orangy. hope this helps! :D
